Dental Insurance Plus – Insurance for Root Canal
Dental insurance quote for getting a root canal
Question: I think that there is a good chance that I will be needing a root canal. Right now I do not have insurance and I have been shopping plans on line. On the plans that are affordable they list the cost of a root canal but there is more then just one listed.
The same with crowns there is more then just one listed. In order for me to get a quote and know what my cost is for a root canal and crown under a plan, how do I know which one is the right one?
Reply: You would need to see a dentist to first confirm if you need a root canal and crown and also to get the recommend ADA codes for those services. If you seen a dentist already and was told by the dentist the work you needed call back the dental office and ask for the ADA codes for the services they are listing you to have done.
That way with the ADA codes you can match up the coverage’s to the true service you want render and know what your cost is going to be.
Another option to this would be to look at the highest cost options for the dental services, you think you may need and if it less great but comparing the high end with the different plans when you are not sure want you need would be better then going into a plan thinking it is the lower cost and it comes out to be the higher cost
